Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars. /p h3Your Role /h3 pAs a Safety Assurance Manager you will manage, perform and ensure the activities related to safety assurance in the Projects. /p pIn particular, manage, perform and ensure the safety activities related to the ETCS trackside or IXL projects within the RC Mainline Wayside team. /p h3Location /h3 pThis position is open both in Bologna, Roma or Bari /p h3Your Challenges /h3 ul liPerform all the Safety Assurance activities on the Projects of his/her perimeter as per Safety process defined in Signaling Safety Instruction /li liPerform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, VV, TC activities from a Safety perspective /li liDefine safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planning /li liBuild the Safety Reports and the Safety Cases /li liApply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the Project /li liAttend to periodic Safety Reviews /li liDefend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors /li liCollaborate with other SAEs/SAMs involved on ETCS or IXL projects /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liEngineering degree (preferably Electronic Engineering) or similar /li liItalian and English operational in speaking/reading/writing for technical documentation /li liKnowledge concerning the Cenelec Standards for Safety (or equivalent standards if needed: AREMA, IEEE, etc) and safety methodology concepts/principles is an asset /li liExperience in RAMS / Functional Safety Assurance is an asset /li liMastering full engineering cycle (from specification to validation tasks) and related interactions /li liExperience in evaluating and monitoring the workload and the schedule of activities is an asset /li liBehavioural Competencies; Structured and organized; Proactive behaviour; Sense of anticipation and urgency /li liAbility to execute and coordinate analyses, design reviews and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles, adhering to business standards procedures in accordance with project /li liBe a detail-oriented individual, thoughtful and deliberate in your approach to conducting research and analyses /li liPossess a strong work ethic and be task focused.
