We are seeking a Business Controller to join our dynamic Finance team in Italy. You will be a proactive finance business partner, supporting the team during month-end closing, budget and forecast processes, variations analysis, and cost-control activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting for legal entities, adhering to internal and group deadlines.
Your mission
1. Monitor and analyze business performance, including revenue, costs, and profit margins across various units and regions;
2. Execute business and cost control processes to ensure reporting accuracy and integrity;
3. Assist in maintaining budgets, forecasts, and financial targets aligned with strategic objectives;
4. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement;
5. Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and insights for senior management and stakeholders to support decision-making;
6. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency.
This is what you bring along
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;
* 1-2 years of proven experience in Business & Cost Controlling within the Services industry, preferably Tech or Advertising;
* Understanding of revenue recognition principles and cost structures;
* Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis techniques;
* Knowledge of IFRS Accounting Principles;
* Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with NAV system and consolidation tools (e.g., Tagetik, HFM) is a plus;
* Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken); please submit your CV in English;
