Project Management Support
The activity involves supporting the project management function with particular attention to managing purchase requests and related suppliers, planning deliveries, and verifying impacts on construction timelines. Specifically, the responsibilities include:
* Issuance and management of Purchase Requests in SAP for procuring goods and services necessary for project execution (ordering from external suppliers)
* Management and control of passive invoicing and workflow (using "Lucy Star" management system)
* Issuance of Sales Orders in SAP to initiate cable production at owned facilities
* Issuance and management of Call Offs in SAP for procuring goods and services when a Frame Agreement with external suppliers is in place
* Issuance and management of Intercompany Purchase Orders in SAP
* Organization and management of shipments: organizing pickups and deliveries; managing loading/unloading of materials and/or equipment at our facilities/warehouses/laboratories, including booking cranes or carts; preparing outbound delivery notes, etc.
* Preparation and management of shipping documents: shipping invoices, packing lists, certificates, import/export declarations, customs instructions, cargo documents for ships, etc.
* Monitoring and periodically updating delivery deadlines for ordered and shipped goods
* Creating and managing project archives related to Intercompany Orders and shipments
* Managing project documents archive on SharePoint
Requirements
* Italian: native speaker; English: B2 level
* Educational background in economics-management (e.g., Economics, Management Engineering)
* Proficiency in MS Office package
* Knowledge of SAP is a plus
