Role Overview
As a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) in Microsoft Global Delivery, you will provide deep technical expertise in Identity and Access Management, with a strong focus on Microsoft Entra ID. You will support enterprise customers in designing, securing, operating, and modernizing identity architectures across cloud and hybrid environments.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor for identity, authentication, and access control scenarios, helping customers adopt Zero Trust principles while ensuring secure and scalable access to applications, devices, and data.
Key Responsibilities – Identity & Entra ID
Act as a technical authority for Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) within Global Delivery engagements
Design and implement Entra ID tenant architectures aligned with security and business requirements
Support hybrid identity scenarios including Entra Connect and Cloud Sync
Design and troubleshoot Entra Join and Hybrid Join scenarios
Key Responsibilities – Security & Access Control
Implement and optimize Conditional Access, MFA, and Zero Trust identity patterns
Design and support Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and role-based access control (RBAC)
Diagnose authentication, authorization, and sign-in issues
Advise customers on identity governance, lifecycle management, and security posture
Key Responsibilities – Operations & Troubleshooting
Investigate complex identity issues using logs, audit data, and sign-in reports
Troubleshoot authentication protocols and access flows
Support incident response and post-incident analysis for identity-related outages
Collaborate with security, endpoint, and infrastructure teams on end-to-end solutions
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands‐on experience with Microsoft Entra ID
Experience with hybrid identity, synchronization, and federation concepts
Solid understanding of identity security, authentication, and authorization models
Knowledge of Azure networking fundamentals as they relate to identity
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in enterprise identity or security‐focused roles
Familiarity with Zero Trust architectures and identity governance
Strong problem‐solving, analytical, and communication skills
