Overview
Quality & HSE Manager position for Endress+Hauser Group based in Pessano con Bornago (MI). The role has a key function in developing the culture of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment by coordinating strategic and operational activities of the function.
Responsibilities
- Communication and Culture of Quality, Environment and Safety: define and manage Integrated Quality, Safety and Environment Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.).
- Define and implement standards and procedures related to process controls and the auditing system.
- Communicate policies for quality, environment and safety as shared with Management and implement them across the organization.
- Strategic development of the Quality and HSE function: plan and oversee organizational development, define job profiles, and design development programs for staff to build required competencies.
- Standard, Procedures and Auditing: define and implement standards and procedures for process controls and the auditing system, ensuring proper communication and application in the company.
- Operational Management and Projects: coordinate technical and organizational activities, promote cross-functional projects to achieve quality, environment and safety objectives; manage relationships with external bodies (authorities, certification bodies, clients).
- Customer and Supplier Relations: manage quality-related relationships, define auditing plans, qualification criteria and handle non-conformities.
- Quality System Development and Maintenance: internal and external reporting on quality indicators and projects; maintain relationships with certification bodies; propose data management technology choices.
- Continuous Improvement: promote and drive continuous improvement processes, actively supporting development, release and validation of new processes and products.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Mechanical, Materials or Management Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: 6-10 years in similar roles, preferably in structured manufacturing companies with high quality requirements for products, processes and services.
- English: minimum level B2.
- IT: Strong knowledge of MS Office, SAP and ERP systems.
- Management skills: basic management tools (meetings, teamwork, planning, reporting); familiarity with project management, moderation and problem solving, change management; experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
Technical Competences
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and Legislative Decree 81/08.
- Experience in managing integrated quality, safety and environment systems.
- Risk analysis and implementation of prevention plans.
- Audit and certification management.
- Use of quality and HSE management software.
- Emergency management and incident response procedures.
