The Theoretical Physics Group of INFN/University of Bologna invites applications for a PhD position in particle physics phenomenology.
Position Details
Duration: 3 years, starting November 1, 2026.
The selected student will become part of the Bologna theory group and have opportunities to interact with established researchers in the theory and phenomenology of fundamental interactions, including Ilaria Brivio, Davide Pagani, Fabio Maltoni, Michele Lucente, Xabi Marcano, Silvia Pascoli, Tiziano Peraro, and Filippo Sala.
During the PhD the candidate is expected to spend at least 3 months at a different research institution.
Qualifications & Selection
Selection will be based on qualifications including CV, academic degrees, description of the Master's thesis, personal statement, publications if any, and up to three letters of recommendation, followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates.
