We are looking for a
Product Investment Controlling
to join our headquarters at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the
Head of Product Controlling.
You will be responsible to support the Model Lines and the Functions in performing financial planning, budgeting activities and to monitor gaps vs. results of the R&D; costs.
You will support the strategy team and the Model Lines through the company-defined financial frame increasing the financial sensitivity of the counterparts with respect to the key KPIs.
Your main activities will be:
Supporting the first benchmarking estimation before the first milestone with an active role in the costs confirmation (plausibilization both for R&D; and Product Investment);
10 years and 5 years business planning and budgeting process: analysis of business needs, costs and profits evaluation in order to define projects/activities sustainability;
Implementing new methodologies for Tooling analysis;
Negotiation and fine tuning within business areas according to the Company sustainability;
Providing to R&D; functions, model lines, and the Board support to the decision-making processes with financial and economic analysis;
Support to areas for business case preparation, financial analysis preparation to support Board decision-making process.
You have joint responsibility with functions (depending on assigned areas) for the following processes:
Product development (R&D; Costs & Tooling) for each model line incl.
Strategy
Benchmarking processes (e.g. First Product Technical Description evaluation before the first milestone)
About you
University Degree in Engineering or Economics
At least 6 years' experience in roles as a Buyer, VA-VE, or Cost Engineering
English knowledge, German will be considered a plus
Analysis and problem solving

Time and costs management
Presentation to management with capability to steer the different area requests and drive the discussion
Communication with different stakeholders to create common understanding of target objectives
Ability to ground the recommended solution to achieve the target
