The Supplier Quality Engineer Giga Factory manages suppliers' issues from Incoming Quality to final produced cells and modules, and also the Customer’s field returns (Zero Km, Warranty), both for serial production and new launches. To accomplish the activities until the final closure, the Supplier Quality Engineer is strongly connected with Head Office Supplier Quality Engineer or Head Office Supplier Performance Engineer.
Main Mission
Work with Plant Production to collect preliminary info about NOK parts (serial number, batch) and define if the downstream customer is impacted;
Responsible for suspect material quarantine, immediate containment actions implementation (including Controlled Shipping Level);
Work together with Quality Lab. or Quality Operations, for assistance in properly address the issue;
Implement reinforced control plan (additional inspections) in case of supposed emerging risk for the customer;
Perform reappear tests with the Plant Production;
Open claims in Ivalua system;
Manage sorting activities in ACC Giga Factory with third parties service providers;
Share among all the Giga Factories the supplier issues and the related containments (read across);
Notify to the suppliers the Involved Costs;
Manage the Escalation process against suppliers (e.g. Warning Letter, Esc. Lev. I / II, NBH);
Share experience and continuous improvement across ACC organization (e.g. Center of Competence);
Follow all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on ACC policy, procedures and / or work instructions and / or explained in training.
Minimum 5 years in quality and min. 2 years as Supplier Quality Engineer
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering preferred in Chemistry, Materials, Mechanics
Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive, semiconductor, electronics, or aerospace fields are preferred).
Proficient in advanced statistical methods, large-scale data analysis, measurement systems analysis, SPC, etc.
Minitab, JMP, or other statistical software capabilities are preferred.
English fluent
Automotive and, or Aviation internal auditor certification is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required, to build solid partnerships both internally and externally
Ability to analyze data and synthesize reports and KPIs
Effective presentation and public speaking skills (comfortable presenting to all levels of the organization)
