Overview
As the new General Manager for Italy, you will lead the LEGO® business across the Italian market, driving the strategic and operational growth of the brand. You will manage a dedicated team of around 60 commercial colleagues located in Milan and work as part of our Western Europe Market Group leadership team.
Core Responsibilities
* Drive further growth of the Italian business across all channels (branded stores, toy specialists, hypermarkets, drug stores, online retailers, distributors, etc.).
* Translate global strategy into Italian‑specific sales and marketing results.
* Lead the operational business, develop existing and new customer relationships.
* Own financial target achievement (sales, cost, profit) for the Italian business unit.
* Steer a steady growth agenda while ensuring profitability and credit risk controls.
* Drive the digitalisation of the consumer journey and growth of e‑commerce across the unit.
* Oversee the branded channel business (LEGO certified stores) in Southern Europe (Italy, France, Spain & Portugal) and manage the strategic partnership with \"Percassi\".
Qualifications
* Successful track record of driving commercial success as a GM (or similar role) with P&L responsibility, preferably in branded consumer products, fashion, lifestyle, or e‑commerce.
* Ambitious with a strong growth mindset and proven results.
* Experience building and developing relationships with distributors, specialist retailers, and pure e‑commerce players.
* Track record of digital transformation and e‑commerce strategy integration.
* Digital savviness and deep understanding of consumer behaviour.
* Experience in European markets and international mindset.
* Proficiency in English and Italian (additional languages a plus).
* Results‑oriented with high ambition for the team.
* Strong leadership experience in high‑performing B2B and B2C teams.
* Ability to challenge status quo and lead change effectively.
