We are seeking a candidate with in-depth industry knowledge of the business environment and technical solutions to assist customers in gaining market share and increasing operational efficiencies. The role involves providing technical and consultative leadership on complex engagements, focused on specific industries or service offerings.
Responsibilities
1. Provide technical and consultative services on NetWitness solutions across various complex projects.
2. Conduct workshops, analyze requirements, develop solution designs, document, and deliver training on NetWitness solutions.
3. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure smooth project implementation and transition.
4. Deliver services independently and in team environments, working with sales and other personnel.
5. Manage multiple work streams, define deliverables, and adhere to project methodologies and budgets.
6. Lead project quality assurance activities and validate requirements and prototypes.
7. Manage or serve as technical lead on projects, understanding customer challenges and providing strategic solutions.
8. Prepare and maintain activity and progress reports, and ensure knowledge transfer and training.
9. Create detailed project plans, review SOWs, and categorize requirements.
Technical Responsibilities
1. Assist customers in threat detection and hunting capabilities.
2. Track threat actors and associated TTPs.
3. Develop detection content and use cases within NetWitness for various security tools.
4. Create advanced queries, alerts, dashboards, and reports to identify threats.
5. Assess visibility gaps and recommend improvements.
6. Support sales scoping and contribute to technical course development.
7. Develop knowledge assessments, participate in lab and content QA, and maintain instructor documentation.
8. Assist in lab deployment and upgrades, and deliver webinars and training events.
Required Experience/Qualifications
1. Understanding of logging mechanisms for network, security solutions, servers, and databases.
2. Knowledge of networking and security infrastructure.
3. Ability to analyze data flow in network topologies.
4. Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills.
5. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Understanding of logs, events, packets, and incidents.
7. Knowledge of collection methodologies like Syslog, SNMP, ODBC, LEA, FTP, SFTP.
8. Awareness of security threats, trends, and policies.
9. Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
10. Professional proficiency in English.
11. Federal security clearance is advantageous.
