Job Title: Payroll Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our payroll operations, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather and validate employee data from HR, Employee Services, Compensation & Benefits, and other sources for payroll calculations.
* Review payroll reports, conduct timely and accurate validations & standard controls to meet department metric targets.
* Collaborate with the payroll vendor on employee payslip queries and salary certificates.
* Provide excellent customer service through the ticketing system.
* Review and audit bank statements and payments tracker.
* Process garnishments requests and follow up on courthouse open cases.
* Promote process improvement initiatives.
* Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders (Benefits, Compensation, Stock Options, HR Services, Local HR, Recruitment, Accounting, Treasury and others).
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 3+ years of experience processing payroll for LATAM countries, with Brazil being a plus.
* Strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to details.
* Deep knowledge of personal income tax legislation and Brazilian labor law.
* Ability to apply Union Collective Bargaining Agreements.
* Fluency in Portuguese and English language.
* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, and other formulas).
Preferred Qualifications
Aplus experience in managing finance operations for accounts payable, accounts receivable, or payroll is desirable.
