The company also develops braking systems for mountain bike racing. /p pGuided by its strategic vision – “Turning Energy into Inspiration” – Brembo’s ambition is to help shape the future of mobility through cutting-edge, digital and sustainable solutions. /p pWith over 16,000 people across 18 countries, 39 production and business sites, 10 RD centers, 2 Inspiration Labs and with a turnover of € 3,840.6 million in 2024, Brembo is the trusted solution provider for everyone who demands the best driving experience. /p pWe are looking for a bSMART MANUFACTURING ARCHITECT /b to join our Global Central Function Transformation (reporting to the VP Architecture, Governance Business Intelligence). /p pThe Smart manufacturing Architect’s responsibilities will include strategy design and execution in the domain of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Industrial IoT solutions to ensure: /p ul liMonitoring and synchronization of manufacturing activities across globally distributed plants and link them in real-time. /li liEliminate human error in manufacturing by providing real-time quality data checks, yield monitoring, automatic enforcement of specifications and business rules, and as-manufactured lot, batch, device or unit traceability. /li liTrack product and order details on the plant floor, collect transactions for reporting to financial and planning systems, and electronically dispatch orders and manufacturing instructions to shop floor personnel. /li liReal-time feedback needed to quickly identify and resolve issues for continuous product and process improvement and optimization of manufacturing processes. /li liSupport the Business Transformation journeys by taking all relevant architecture decisions related to all manufacturing data, information and processes across Brembo globally distributed manufacturing plants. /li liEstablish reference architecture, design and technology principles in the MES domain. /li liLead solution implementation to all topics related to MES: provide the digital foundation and enterprise architecture for “smart manufacturing”. /li liImprove manufacturing efficiency through software implementations. /li liLead comprehensive Product/Tool Evaluation and selection services. Stay abreast of new technologies and identify opportunities. /li liIdentify and prioritize critical or improvement areas in collaboration with the business, manage PoC with suppliers and ensure the creation of solution architectures to meet these objectives. /li liParticipate in the planning for retirement of systems programs, and migration of systems infrastructure. /li /ul h3Main Requirements /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Information Technology or similar academic studies. /li li+/- 7 years of professional experience in IT, including 3 years as architect. /li liExperience with the implementation, migration or integration of MES and IoT systems in complex business environments is a must.
