PpRINA is currently recruiting for a Italy Food Voluntary Certification Operations Lead Auditor to join its office in Firenze or Bologna or Genova, Italy within the Mediterranean Africa Certification Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pThe role focuses on planning, conducting, and managing audits within our certification business related to the different certification schemes. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul libAudit Program Management: /b Prepare, manage, and control the audit program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. /li libDocument Review: /b Check customer management system documents, including manuals, procedures, instructions, files, and records, to verify compliance and accuracy. /li libAudit Planning: /b Plan audits and coordinate with relevant stakeholders. /li libAudit Participation: /b Participate in and lead audits, conducting interviews, note-taking, and assessing the implementation of management systems. /li libAudit Result Definition: /b Identify and define audit results - positive and negative findings as non‑conformities, opportunities of improvement. /li libReport Generation: /b Draw up comprehensive audit reports detailing findings and recommendations for certification decisions. /li libFollow‑Up Management: /b Manage the follow‑up process, including tracking non‑conformities and corrective actions, ensuring resolution and compliance. /li libTechnical Review: /b Conduct technical reviews of audit files and propose certification decisions based on thorough analysis. /li libSkill Maintenance: /b Keep skills, qualifications, and certifications up to date by staying informed about industry standards and best practices. /li libResource Performance Monitoring: /b Monitor the performance of resources involved in the certification process, providing guidance and support as needed. /li libData Management: /b Maintain updated records of customer data and other information relevant to the audit process. /li libCustomer Engagement: /b Manage technical meetings with customers, fostering positive relationships and addressing any technical concerns. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liLead Auditor qualification for the voluntary BRCGS / IFS Food certification standards or at least having passed the IFS Food auditor qualification exams (written and oral). /li liStrong understanding of audit planning, execution, and reporting processes. /li liProven ability to lead and manage audit programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry requirements. /li liExpertise in conducting document reviews, identifying non‑conformities, and providing actionable recommendations. /li liSkilled in technical reviews and defining audit results, including corrective actions. /li liExcellent communication skills for conducting interviews, reporting findings, and engaging with customers. /li liIn‑depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and continuous improvement methodologies. /li liStrong ability to monitor resource performance and ensure compliance with audit requirements. /li liUp‑to‑date qualifications and certifications, including Lead Auditor certification (ISO, etc.). /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor’s Degree in: Food Science and Technology or Animal Production Science and Technology or Degree in Agricultural Science and Technology or Biological Sciences or Veterinary Medicine. /p pAt RINA, we endeavor to create a work environment where every single person is valued and encouraged to develop new ideas.
