You will join feature teams, working in an Agile environment (SAFe framework), contributing to the delivery of features within Program Increments (12‑week cycles). This role is well suited for freelancers or independent consultants looking to work on complex automotive embedded projects.What You’ll Be DoingArchitect and validate the hardware‑rooted Chain of TrustManage secure boot flow from Qualcomm PBL → Linux kernel → user spaceDefine and implement PKI strategyManage certificate lifecycle; code‑signing authorities; PKCS standards (especially PKCS#11)Enable secure interaction with HSM / TrustZoneDesign and implement SELinux policiesEnforce least privilege principlesPerform security audits across system servicesDesign and integrate real‑time intrusion detection mechanismsMonitor anomalous behavior; protocol violations; unauthorized accessParticipate in Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA)Align with ISO/SAE 21434Identify attack vectors and define mitigation strategiesEnsure secure software update (OTA) processesPrevent rollback attacks and unauthorized firmware injectionDesign cryptographic validation mechanismsWhat You’ll Bring AlongDegree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar positionStrong experience with Qualcomm security architecture: Trusted Execution Environment (TEE); TrustZone; Secure MSMDeep understanding of asymmetric & symmetric cryptography, hashing algorithms, PKCS standardsExpertise in SELinux policy development (targeted / MLS); Linux hardening (namespaces, kernel protection)Strong knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 and UN R155 / R156Experience with MACSec (IEEE 802.1AE) and MKA protocolExperience with automotive Ethernet securityExperience with embedded Linux/Yocto and security layers (meta‑security, dm‑verity, secure mounts)Expert‑level C++ (C++14 / C++17 / C++20)Experience with multithreading, async programming, memory managementExperience with automotive telematics systems is nice to haveBackground in HSM integration is nice to haveExperience in large‑scale embedded architectures is nice to haveExposure to secure communication stacks is nice to have#J-18808-Ljbffr
