Our client is seeking a Cyber Security Governance Specialist to join their high-impact internal security team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Cyber Security Manager to design, implement, and embed critical governance capabilities that support the entire business. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior to mid-level professional with hands-on GRC experience who’s eager to take ownership, drive change, and grow within a fast-evolving, visible function. What You’ll Be Doing Governance Framework: Design and roll out the comprehensive cybersecurity policy framework. Security Monitoring & Reporting: Develop dashboards and define key risk/security indicators (KRI/KPI). Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO/IEC 27001 and other relevant standards. Business Continuity: Lead BIA activities and support BCP development and testing. Security Awareness: Conduct phishing simulations and internal training programs. Third-Party Risk: Manage vendor relationships focusing on cyber risk. Executive Reporting: Maintain clear, business-oriented documentation for senior stakeholders. What We're Looking For 3–5 years’ experience in GRC or cybersecurity governance, preferably in consulting or regulated environments. Experience with project delivery and time management in a fast-paced setting. Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 and understanding of frameworks like ITIL, COBIT, TOGAF. Familiarity with GDPR and data protection regulations. Exposure to security monitoring tools and dashboards is advantageous. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar. Excellent communication skills in Italian and English. Must be based near Milan or willing to commute daily. What’s on Offer Salary up to €50,000 (depending on experience).
