Nokia Software (SWA) comprises the definition, specification, and allocation of requirements from different sources utilizing knowledge of systems engineering processes (specification & architecture). It involves processing use case and feature requirements into conceptual models, operational scenarios, technical requirements, and functional description. This includes specification, design, implementation, and unit testing of Software such as device drivers, microcode, hardware-related software & firmware, as defined by the system architecture. It also covers establishment and maintenance of Software Configuration Management (SCM) practices, continuously building and integrating infrastructure tools and systems. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
Design, develop and deploy software solutions to address business issues Coding and Software Development, provide technical leadership and consultation Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform Work with other solution architects to understand and interpret business and system requirement specifications Troubleshoot architecture and design level problems quickly and provide efficient resolutions Analyse, design, develop and test products/services/improvements/bug resolutions for integrated hardware/software systems as per customer requirements Resolve customer trouble tickets, diagnose complex problems/issues (e.g., hardware, software, combination) and provide resolutions or recommend corrective actions Develop SW/HW build-controlled production releases (e.g., main and update releases, service packages, maintenance updates, and customer design engineering) Key Skills And Experience
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field 4-6 years of experience with Python, Java, Bash, Gawk, Perl Knowledge of Rest APIs, Microservices, and microservice-based architecture Experience in Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, KAFKA and message broker architecture Experience in Data Visualization & exploration tools such as OpenSearch, Victoria Metrics & Grafana, and good knowledge of database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB) It would be nice if you also had: Understanding of the Java VM operation and how that relates to the Linux OS Good knowledge of web servers like Tomcat/WebSphere/JBOSS Network data security and VPN connectivity, IPSEC About Us
