Purpose of the job:
Define and execute the Services Material scheduling and Inventory strategy according to customer needs and internal constraints and in coordination with Industrialization and Operations departments
Responsibilities
1. Guarantee material availability through appropriate needs scheduling and follow-up
2. Improve Services performance in term of material availability and inventory management
3. Define the order-reorder strategy to optimize the inventory coverage reducing the stock-out occurrences
4. Set parts categories (based on ABC, variability, business for defining planning strategy and line replenishment
5. Provide to sourcing department the forecast of the material needs and the list of priorities in terms of source of supplying to be contractualized
6. Define and implement action plans and improvements in the planning process
7. Support Planning and Forecasts planning strategy defined by Global Planning
8. Define and set-up MRP parameters to implement material planning strategies and ensure the data accuracy on SAP
9. Improve of the specific tools used for planning, based on the historical data and according to the customer plan
10. Analyze Inventory content for correcting planning strategies.
11. Support finance for inventory depreciation calculation
12. Implement and manage improvement plan in regard of Inventory reduction
13. Measure performance in Supply Chain processes and create reports for analysis
Requirements
14. High School Diploma and at l least 3-4 years of experience in similar role, preferably in the railway industry or in an international organization
15. Degree in Engineering (or similar) and at least 2 years of experience in similar role
16. Good Knowledge Office pack specially Excel
17. Knowledge ERP SAP (MM Material Management)
18. Fluent in English and Italian
19. Flexibility, Teamworking, Result Orientation, Problem Solving and Proactive Approach complete the profile
