This challenging position requires excellent leadership and organisational skills to manage services on and off‑site, providing direction to Project Managers, Supervisors, and various sub‑contractors as needed. /p h3Primary Responsibilities /h3 h3Design Phase /h3 ul liAuthoring and reviewing the Owner's Project Requirements, Basis of Design, and commissioning documents. /li liDrafting the Commissioning Plan and Programme, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. /li liLeading the Commissioning Agent Kick‑Off Meeting, facilitating collaboration and understanding among stakeholders. /li liCompiling a comprehensive project directory, ensuring all relevant information is documented and easily accessible. /li /ul h3Construction Phase /h3 ul liLeading Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 Commissioning Workshops, fostering teamwork and efficient execution of commissioning tasks. /li liAttending Factory and Field Witness Tests, overseeing the process, and producing related reports to ensure compliance with project specifications. /li liDeveloping Commissioning Checklists for electrical, mechanical, monitoring, and safety systems, guaranteeing thorough and systematic assessments. /li liDrafting Level 4 Test Scripts and Site Observation Reports, documenting observations accurately and providing clear action plans. /li liConducting weekly commissioning and client meetings, maintaining effective communication channels throughout construction. /li liManaging and updating the Commissioning Tracker, ensuring all commissioning activities are tracked and progress is well monitored. /li /ul h3Acceptance Phase /h3 ul liOverseeing Level 4 Commissioning across various systems, coordinating with project teams to resolve any issues promptly. /li liCollating and presenting Level 4 Commissioning data and preparing comprehensive reports for project stakeholders. /li liDrafting Level 5 Test Scripts and leading the Pre‑Integrated Systems Testing Meeting, ensuring a smooth transition to the final commissioning phase. /li liCoordinating Level 5 Commissioning and producing the preliminary report, highlighting successes, and identifying areas for improvement. /li /ul h3Handover Phase /h3 ul liCoordinating system training data collection, ensuring end‑users receive the necessary training for efficient system operation. /li liReviewing Operations Maintenance procedures, validating their completeness and accuracy. /li liLeading the "Lessons Learnt Workshop," facilitating a constructive discussion to identify valuable insights for future projects. /li liDelivering the Final Commissioning Report, summarising the commissioning process and outcomes to support the successful handover of the project. /li /ul h3Qualifications and Experience /h3 ul liCompletion of trade apprenticeship or qualifications – Essential /li liBEng (Hons) in an engineering discipline or equivalent – Essential /li liCSCS / Safe Pass / ECS / SMSTS holder – Essential /li liHNC – Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services – Essential /li liPrince 2 or equivalent – Desirable /li /ul pWe will fully support those candidates who have the potential to achieve the above through further education, CPD, and mentoring. /p h3Benefits /h3 pAs an employee of Global Commissioning, you will be eligible for: /p p20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing 1 day each year for the first 5 years of service. /p pFully funded training courses and qualifications. /p pWe are committed to equal opportunities and welcome applications from all sections of the community. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
