What you will do
To strengthen our Digital & IoT team, we are looking for an IoT Quality Engineer & Project Support Intern who will support both the coordination and quality assurance of innovative connected product initiatives in a dynamic, international environment.
The role offers hands-on experience across technical testing, project coordination, and cross‑functional collaboration, providing broad exposure to IoT ecosystems, connected product development, and digital solutions.
Responsibilities
* Support IoT project coordination and quality activities in a dynamic, international environment.
* Assist Project and Program Managers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring IoT initiatives.
* Track activities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure smooth project execution.
* Facilitate communication and collaboration across cross‑functional teams (business, development, infrastructure, operations, external partners).
* Contribute to IoT quality and testing activities, including test planning, documentation, and test data preparation.
* Support the setup and maintenance of test environments and execution of manual and automated tests, logging results and analyzing deviations or bugs.
* Contribute to test automation and quality troubleshooting activities.
* Develop a solid understanding of IoT ecosystems, connected product development, and digital solutions, while supporting continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
What you need to succeed
* Student or graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Engineering, or similar scientific/engineering fields
* Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g. C, Java, Python)
* Strong interest in IoT technologies, quality assurance, and project coordination
* Fluency in Italian (written and spoken); good knowledge of English (written, spoken, and by phone)
* Excellent knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint
* Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem‑solving attitude
* Previous experience or interest in Operations, Quality, or Project Management will be considered a plus
We offer a 6 months paid internship
