Xara Collection is seeking a reliable and technically skilled IT Associate to support our IT department in maintaining the organization’s computer systems, networks, and user support needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Windows operating environments, WAN networking, and troubleshooting a variety of IT-related issues. Key Responsibilities:Provide first-level technical support to users across the organization (in-person, via phone, or remote).Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware.Assist in the administration and monitoring of the organization's WAN, including routers, switches, and internet connectivity.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and professional manner.Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.Assist with user account management including Active Directory, email setup, and permissions.Support the setup and operation of IT equipment for meetings or presentations.Ensure timely updates and patches for systems and antivirus software.Document support issues and solutions in a ticketing or knowledge base system. Qualifications &, Experience:Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.1–2 years of experience in a technical support or IT associate role.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, and Windows Server environments.Understanding of WAN technologies and basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).Familiarity with Active Directory, user account management, and file permissions.Good understanding of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
