Job Summary
The Warehouse Specialist maintains and oversees daily operations in the Finished Goods warehouse, providing accurate inventory records, coordinating Inbound and Outbound processes, ensuring that all safety and health protocols are followed.
Essential Job Functions
* Coordinate daily shipment planning and slot booking in the Transport management system
* Managing/providing documentation for shipments
* Provide and maintain working instructions for specific area
* Participate in regular audits
* Resolve any issue or discrepancy related to inventory or shipment
* Support high safety and health standards in the warehouse based on local regulations and CP standards
* Provide support for Customer Service and Transportation departments in order to achieve world class customer service
* Provide support for Manufacturing, International, and Transportation to solve Supply Chain issues
* Maintain proper control procedures at location to ensure the safety of company assets
* Participate and contribute in continuous improvement projects
* Ensure compliance to Food Standards (AiB) and quality standards in warehouse location
* Maintain relationship with: European Customer Service, Transport, Planning Managers and his/her staff(s) to help achieve customer service and operations objectives; Plant Personnel to problem solve supply chain damage issues and to manage response to plant shuttle volumes, weekend scheduling, and hold product procedures; International Personnel to support execution of highly specialized operational processes; IT Personnel on SAP and/or EDI system related issues; Customs Brokers in case some clarification is needed; Veterinary Inspections; External auditors and participate in audits; provide and maintain working instructions for specific areas
Education
STEM Educational Background
Experience
2-5 years experience in WH and logistics area
* Proven experience in warehouse management
* Excellent organization and multitasking skills
* Proficiency in using warehouse management software and other relevant tools
* Great analytical skills and experience with reporting
* Attention to details
* Interpersonal and Communication Skills
* Strong PC Skills Required: EXCEL and Word Required
* Experience with SAP/WMS is plus
* Experience with Warehouse Management Systems is a plus
* Language skills: proficiency in Italian and English
