WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
* Lead the end-to-end daily operations of the fulfilment unit, coaching and developing your leaders.
* Ensure efficiency, implement improvements, and develop new operational processes, technologies, and ways of working across inbound, replenishment, outbound, and services execution to deliver an excellent customer and colleague experience.
* Maintain high quality at the lowest possible costs, always with the customer in focus, while ensuring a safe, sustainable, and healthy work environment.
* Foster close cooperation and strong communication with supply chain management, the unit management team, support functions, and external transport/service providers to maximize goods availability and customer order fulfilment at minimal cost.
* Implement the customer fulfilment sustainability agenda within the assigned unit operations.
* Ensure compliance of the fulfilment operations team with the IKEA code of conduct, relevant standard operating procedures, internal regulations, and local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
* Good knowledge of customer fulfilment performance monitoring and influencing factors.
* Understanding of working methods that secure excellence in fulfilment processes with relevant stakeholders.
* Knowledge of supply chain policies, methods, and requirements related to IKEA and its partners.
* Familiarity with standard operating procedures for customer fulfilment to ensure safety for colleagues and customers.
* Experience in resource planning aligned with sales forecasts and fulfilment flows.
* Ability to collaborate effectively, inspire, and engage others with a business-minded and customer-focused approach.
* Leadership skills in transforming environments and working with various stakeholders.
* Responsibility-taking and empowerment abilities to foster entrepreneurial spirit among colleagues.
* Capability to manage a high-volume, fast-changing omnichannel retail environment with flexibility, speed, and simplicity.
* Proficiency in English and Italian languages.
