The Controller supports the Finance Department in managing the economic and financial performance of photovoltaic projects and overall business operations. The role ensures accurate monitoring of costs, revenues, margins and financial KPIs, contributing directly to informed decision-making and to the financial sustainability of ongoing and future projects.ResponsabilitàControlling & Reporting
Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analysis (actual vs budget vs forecast) and management commentary.Contribute to annual budgeting and periodic forecasting, with a focus on investments, O&M costs and project profitability.Monitor financial KPIs typical of the energy sector (IRR, NPV, Payback Period, EBITDA, Cash Flow).Support the development of business plans for new PV plants and development projects.
Project Controlling
Analyze project-related costs and revenues by single plant and by geographic area.Track project progress, CAPEX investments and OPEX.Oversee the financial aspects of EPC, O&M, leasing and PPA contracts.Verify the economic consistency of commercial offers and contracts with clients, suppliers and partners.
Finance Processes
Support month-end closing activities and related accounting entries.Monitor working capital (receivables, payables, inventory) and contribute to improving O2C and P2P processes.Collaborate with the treasury team to prepare cash flow forecasts for each project.
Compliance & Governance
Support internal control and audit activities.Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.Review financial documentation related to photovoltaic assets and operations.
CompetenzeEducation
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering or related fields.
Experience
3–5 years of experience in controlling.Preferably from energy, utilities, infrastructure, or environmental services sectors.Experience in photovoltaic companies, EPC contractors, or renewable energy asset/fund managers is a plus.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of industrial and project controlling.Experience in financial modelling and business case development.Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.Excellent command of advanced Excel.Fluent English.
