Role Overview
You will design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines for a multi‑country, multi‑tenant platform composed of edge, cloud processing, operational portal, and analytics/DW.
You’ll enable fast, secure releases; strong observability; and compliant data flows—meeting strict audit SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
* Kubernetes & Containers: Operate production Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS/GKE), manage Docker images (multi‑stage, Alpine base), helm charts, rollouts/rollbacks, autoscaling, health/readiness probes.
* CI/CD: Own pipelines in GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps for build, unit tests, security scanning, artifact publishing, and Helm deployments across environments.
* Observability: Implement and evolve metrics, logs, and traces: Prometheus, Grafana dashboards, Loki + Promtail for structured JSON logs, OpenTelemetry instrumentation, Tempo as tracing backend; ensure actionable alerts and SLOs/SLIs.
* Security & Identity: Enforce mTLS between cloud and on premise components, HTTPS everywhere, JWT for operator/admin calls; integrate Keycloak (OIDC, RBAC); manage certificates, keystore usage (OS/Android/iOS), and secure secrets.
* Data & Messaging: Support PostgreSQL (operational data per country), ClickHouse (DW, sharded/replicated), Object Storage (S3/Azure Blob/GCS/MinIO), and RabbitMQ (async workflows, retries, idempotency).
* Platform & Runtime: Containerize and operate .NET 8 / ASP.NET Core services (Cloud Backend), manage configurations, environment promotion, and performance tuning.
* Compliance & Audit: Maintain data partitioning per country and tenant; support audit SLAs via reliable ingestion, storage, and retrieval.
* Reliability & Incident Response: Participate in on‑call/incident rotations and continuous reliability improvements.
* Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA, product, and operations to streamline release cycles and developer experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience: 3+ years in DevOps/SRE/Cloud Engineering operating production workloads.
* Cloud & K8s: Strong hands‑on with AWS (plus a working knowledge of Azure/GCP); deep experience with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), Docker, and Helm.
* CI/CD: Proven delivery using GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps, including security scanning and multi‑env deployments.
* Observability: Practical expertise with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki/Promtail, OpenTelemetry and Tempo; building usable dashboards & alerts.
* Security & Identity: Experience with mTLS, JWT, OIDC/Keycloak, certificate lifecycle/rotation, and secure secret handling.
* Data & Messaging: Operational familiarity with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Object Storage (S3/Blob/GCS/MinIO), and RabbitMQ.
* Runtime & APIs: Comfort with .NET 8 / ASP.NET Core services running in containers; RESTful API fundamentals.
* Communication: Fluent English (written/spoken), clear communication of complex technical topics, Italian a PLUS.
Preferred (nice to have)
* IaC/GitOps: Terraform or Pulumi for cloud/K8s; Helmfile/Argo CD/Flux.
* Security Tooling: Container/image scanning (e.g., Trivy), SBOM/signing, CIS benchmarks/kube‑bench.
* Backups/DR: Velero or similar for cluster backups.
* Policy as Code: OPA/Conftest for compliance.
* Front‑end delivery: Experience hosting React/TypeScript SPAs with Vite → Nginx pipelines.
* FinOps: Cost monitoring/rightsizing across clouds.
