We are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to take on a key leadership role within our international finance team.About the Role:As a Senior AP Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, overseeing, and optimizing our global AP processes. You will act as the right hand to the Global AP Manager and coordinate a small team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in a high-volume, multi-currency, multi-entity environment.This role is ideal for a Senior AP leader with strong systems knowledge (Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP), a track record of managing cross-border payables, and experience in leading or mentoring teams within a Shared Services environment.Oversight and LeadershipLead day-to-day AP operations for a portfolio of international entitiesSupervise and mentor 2-3 junior AP specialistsEnsure on-time, accurate payment runs and vendor settlements across regionsProcess ExcellenceChampion best practices in AP workflows and internal controlsCollaborate with the Global AP Manager to improve efficiency and standardizationSupport onboarding of new entities (e.g., North America) into the Shared Service frameworkVendor and Stakeholder ManagementManage escalations and critical vendor relationshipsAct as a liaison with procurement, finance, and treasury teams globallyMonth-End ComplianceReview and approve AP reconciliations, accruals, and reporting packagesAssist with statutory reporting, audits, and compliance with IFRS and internal policiesTechnology SystemsUtilize Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent ERP systems to manage payablesLeverage tools like Kanbina AI and Excel for data insights and continuous improvementRequirements7–10 years’ progressive experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 3 years in a Shared Services or multinational environmentPrevious experience supporting or managing a small teamStrong knowledge of global AP operations, including US/Canadian compliance (e.g., 1099/T4A), IFRS, and tax rulesSystems proficiency (Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP)Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)Strong communication, prioritization, and vendor management skillsFluent English (written and spoken)BenefitsWelfare Fringe BenefitTicket RestaurantLearning and DevelopmentHybrid ModelDISCLAIMERWe do our best to respond to all applicants in a timely manner.
