ROLE PURPOSE Production Planners develop daily or weekly production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met. They determine material, equipment, and labor requirements, prepare status and performance reports, and resolve production issues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluating purchase orders to create suitable production schedules. Estimating the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production. Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production. Coordinating production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability. Recommending viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality. Adjusting production schedules to meet deadlines. Compiling and submitting status and performance reports to management in a timely manner. Informing relevant departments of changes to current production schedules. Managing complex projects involving technical, quality, production, sales, logistics, and warehouse departments. Defining stock policies for packages warehouses and managing stock levels to meet market demands. Procurement of package-specific components. Prioritizing planning of made-in items with colleagues to ensure timely availability. Continuously improving the packages planning process. SKILLS Good level of English (B2) EDUCATION Technical High School Diploma or higher. PERSONAL SKILLS Strong analytical skills, precision, interpersonal and organizational skills. Proactivity, problem solving, team-oriented attitude. Open to change. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE Experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or related fields.
