IT Project Manager for NATO

Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and oversee software development activities, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
* Track progress, identify and mitigate risks and blockers, and facilitate communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* A minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in an information systems, physics or electronics related scientific or engineering discipline, or other relevant scientific discipline, and 2 years post-related experience.
* A recognised formal Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
* A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in managing software development or IT projects with proven track record of successful delivery in complex technical environments.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills with ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project and operational risks while translating complex requirements into actionable plans.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across technical and non-technical audiences.
* Professional experience with project management tools, collaboration platforms, and documentation systems (e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.).
* Understanding of IT service delivery, operational workflows, and procurement processes.
* Good level of spoken and written English.
