Location: Remote Salary Range: Flexible About the Role You will manage payroll for our international clients, primarily in Italy, ensuring employees receive their salaries, benefits, and reports on time and accurately. You will coordinate with clients, local partners, and internal teams to deliver seamless payroll services. Responsibilities End-to-end payroll: Manage payroll for multiple clients, focusing initially on Italy, ensuring smooth data flow between clients and payroll partners. Reporting & record-keeping: Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, maintaining detailed and accurate records. Data validation: Collect, verify, and input payroll data, checking for inaccuracies and correcting issues. Compliance & research: Stay updated on tax and payment regulations in Italy and other countries, working with local accountants to ensure legal compliance. Client support: Build professional relationships with clients, respond promptly to payroll inquiries, and meet deadlines. Cross-team collaboration: Work with Customer Experience, Accounting, Operations, and other teams to gather inputs, resolve discrepancies, and provide support. Requirements Professional background: Minimum 2 years of relevant Italian payroll experience; global payroll exposure is a plus. Knowledge: Payroll best practices, economics, accounting, and financial concepts. Technical skills: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word. Soft skills: Excellent English communication skills, analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced international environment.
