Ph3About this opportunity /h3 pAs a member of the cost management team, you will take part in service delivery for real estate projects – from early cost advice to settlement of the final account. /p h3Responsibilities include but are not limited to: /h3 ul liSupporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives. /li liDelivering high quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet Customers’ requirements. /li liPreparing and presenting order of cost estimates and option studies. /li liCost planning. /li liCost-in-use studies – study of the cost of building maintenance. /li liAdvising on and implementing procurement strategies. /li liPreparing tender documentation and managing the tender process, including designing tender marking schemes. /li liPreparing bids for services. /li liEvaluating and reporting on tenders. /li liValuing completed work and arranging for payments. /li liSettling final accounts. /li liProviding technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects. /li liAdministrating contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent. /li liProducing and presenting reports to Customers. /li liAdvising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance. /li /ul h3As a Gleeds team member, you will have access to: /h3 ul liOpportunities to develop and grow your career /li liEmployee Assistance Programme /li /ul h3Who we’re looking for: /h3 h3Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills /h3 ul li10+ years of cost management experience in major real estate related construction projects (over 30M€) /li liKnowledge of French construction regulation /li liPractical knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies. /li liKnowledge of contractual forms of engineering missions, project management assistance, project management and in particular the MOP law and the NFP 03.001 /li liUnderstanding of national legislation impacting on building contracts /li liClear and effective communication skills – both oral and written /li liMethodical way of thinking and approach to work /li liOrganisational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing environments. /li liExcellent problem, negotiating, finance and numeracy management skills /li liSound ICT skills, with a good level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; /li liAbility to work as part of a team /li liProfessional level of English and French /li liEligible to work in France /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBac+2 to Bac+5, engineering school or equivalent /li liDiploma in the field of Construction Economics /li /ul h3About us /h3 pA world of opportunity /p pGleeds is a place to be part of something bigger.
