Program Overview
Graduate Program in R&D Operations. The next program commences in October 2026, comprising three international rotations across Amcor plants and offices in Europe. The contract location will be determined based on the successful candidate.
Role and Responsibilities
* Support the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of R&D systems, tools, and operational processes across Europe.
* Contribute to cross‑functional European projects with other functions (Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, IT, Sustainability, Operations, Product Management).
* Interface between business stakeholders and system/process owners to translate operational needs into structured, practical solutions.
* Align data and analytics initiatives with business priorities to enable fact‑based decision‑making.
* Support change management activities by preparing & delivering documentation, training materials, and communication for new or improved systems and processes.
* Rotate across projects and focus areas within R&D Operations to explore interests, develop strengths, and shape future career direction.
What we are looking for
Education & Experience
* Master’s/Honours degree in Industrial Engineering, General Engineering, Data Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
* Evidence of academic achievements and/or extracurricular activities.
* Up to 2 years of relevant internship or work experience in an industrial, engineering, R&D, or operations environment.
* First international study or work experience considered an asset.
* Exposure to cross‑functional projects, data analysis, or process improvement activities is an advantage.
Technical & Analytical Skills
* Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to understand end‑to‑end processes.
* Interest in IT systems and data, with basic knowledge of SQL, programming concepts, databases, and/or data modelling.
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and/or CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is nice to have.

* Fluency in English; other European languages are an advantage.
