You will handle the precise engineering process of turn-key EPC contracts related to HV Substations (AIS & GIS) and FACTS, ensuring quality and reliability in line with Siemens Energy's strategy. You will support exciting projects and help shape the future of energy.
How You’ll Make an Impact
* Manage project tasks according to the baseline, designing project processes and coordinating with other fields.
* Lead and coordinate technical project team resources to achieve goals.
* Prepare material quantities, technical specifications, and evaluate supplier offers.
* Lead technical meetings with suppliers and customers.
* Interface with all involved business units and support the proposal team as needed.
What You Bring
* At least 5+ years of experience in designing high-tech electromechanical high-voltage projects.
* Previous experience with synchronous condensers or generation projects.
* Knowledge of IT programs like AutoCAD and Elcad.
* Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for short periods (2-3 weeks per project).
* Strong goal orientation, customer focus, initiative, autonomy, and teamwork skills.
Bonus Points
* Experience with BIM design processes.
* Proficiency with electrical simulation tools.
* Experience in commissioning HV substations.
