The position is based in Pistoia - IT. /ph3Accountabilities /h3ulliPreparation of documents Electrical architecture of high, medium and low voltage /liliPreparation vehicle architecture of the TCMS /liliDefinition of traction curves and development of driving simulations /liliDevelopment Functional specifications for the functional integration of the vehicle /liliPreparation of the vehicle test specifications /liliSupport for performance and functional tests of the vehicle /li /ulh3Required Skills / Knowledge /h3ulliExperience of at least 5 years in the railway industry with the role of Train Systems Engineer /liliPreferred past experience in Main Line / High Speed Rolling Stocks /liliKnowledge of the basic concepts of the RAMS disciplines is an advantage /liliKnowledge of the main regulations relating to on-board systems in the railway business /liliKnowledge of the main office automation software/tools (Word, Excel, etc.) /liliKnowledge of the electrotechnical, electronic, system engineering processes and the main regulations in the railway field is required, in order to manage, throughout the life cycle of the product and with an interdisciplinary approach, the design activities, development and functional integration of the subsystems of railway vehicle platforms, with particular reference to the topics of architecture, functions and vehicle performance, from the design phase to the final validation phase and analysis of feedback from the field. /liliRecommended knowledge of electrical/mechanical design software (Autocad, Creo, Catia, etc.) /liliKnowledge of the IBM DOORS requirements management tool /liliKnowledge of Engineering Processes and Railway Operations /liliAbility to work effectively with all levels of the organisation, with the aptitude to contribute with constructive and practical ideas /liliReadiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multitasking international environment /liliAbility to work autonomously in teams and for projects is required /liliAvailability for short-term national and international business trip /li /ulh3Desired Skills / Knowledge /h3ulliAbility to manage and plan the assigned tasks independently and team-working /liliAbility to analyze business requirements, problem-solving attitude and business process analysis /liliAbility to interface with different internal functions (internal customer) and external (suppliers, customers, partners) /liliPlanning and organization /liliVersatile in learning and strong desire to remain up-to-date with changes in technology and best industry practices /liliStrong business acumen technical skills /liliGood communication and interpersonal skills /liliAttitude to work in an international and multi-cultural reality /li /ulh3Education / Qualifications /h3pDegree in Electrical, Electronic or Vehicle Transportation Engineering or equivalent /ph3Languages /h3pKnowledge of the Italian language is mandatory.
