We seek a results‑driven individual who can collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, particularly in the areas of mechanical engineering, electronics, and operations. /p h3WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO /h3 ul liSystem level activities related to the design and realization of Optical Ground Stations for Laser Communication and/or Satellite Laser Ranging, including: /li liSystem definition and sizing /li liSub‑system requirements downflow, definition and management /li liDefinition and management of interfaces. /li liEstablishment and maintenance of relevant performance budgets /li liAnalysis and simulation activities /li liDefinition of verification approach /li liContribution to integration and verification activities /li liContribution to experimental testing activities in the laboratory and/or field /li liPreparation of documentation /li liIdentification and coordination of subcontractors and supervision of their activities /li liI/F with Customer /li /ul h3YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS /h3 ul liMaster’s degree or PhD in engineering or physics /li liMinimum of 3 years of professional experience in optical systems for laser communication /li liHands‑on experience in one or more of the following application areas: /li lifree space satellite optical communication /li lilaser beam propagation /li lilaser physics and photonics. /li liKnowledge of MATLAB/Python/Octave /li liKnowledge of Office /li liResults‑oriented, reliable, proactive approach and with a good team working attitude /li /ul h3THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE /h3 ul liRelevant technical knowledge in one of these areas: /li liAdaptive optics and wave front sensing technology /li liLaser physics and photonics /li liOptical communication /li liPointing acquisition and tracking /li liKnowledge of software tool for the design and simulation of optical communication systems /li liKnowledge of Zemax /li liExperience with requirement management SW (DOORS and similar) /li /ul h3ADDITIONAL INFORMATION /h3 ul liContract: permanent /li liWorking time: full time, hybrid as per the internal policy /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
