Started in 2019, the Finance Transformation project aims to leverage the implementation of SAP and several financial applications (Concur, Esker, Blackline, etc.) to streamline Finance Shared Services processes and organization. The SAP implementation project is over $100 million and aims to serve over 3,000 users.
We are seeking a Procure to Pay (P2P) Assistant Manager to join our team in Florence.
Your opportunity
Your main objectives will include:
* Lead the implementation of continuous accounting and fast-close practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
* Drive change management across stakeholders to ensure alignment on P2P processes.
* Identify and execute process automation opportunities to enhance operational performance.
* Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
How you will contribute
* Supervise and coordinate a team for accurate, timely P2P operations and month-end closing, supporting team development.
* Implement automation tools and redesign workflows for continuous accounting and fast closing.
* Ensure proper recording and retention of financial documents in compliance with legal requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and monitor efficient P2P processes.
* Maintain high service quality by tracking KPIs and meeting SLAs.
* Assist with year-end reporting, audits, and tax submissions, supporting internal controls and reconciliations.
Who you are
* Master’s degree from an accredited university.
* Relevant experience with P2P processes and accounting principles (IFRS and local).
* Strong AP background in a Shared Service environment servicing multiple entities preferred.
* Experience managing financial systems transformation projects preferred.
* Process-driven professional with working knowledge of Power BI.
* Good understanding of retail & industrial business accounting (IFRS16).
* Proficiency in English and Italian, verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills.
