Amoretti Armatori Group is looking for a Vessel Operator to join our Chartering and Operations Department and support the day-to-day execution of fleet operations.

The role is strongly operations-focused, with hands-on involvement in post-fixture activities, port operations coordination, cost control and operational data management.
The Vessel Operator works closely with the Operations team to ensure continuity, accuracy and consistency in routine operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
§ Provide day-to-day operational support to fleet and voyages
§ Coordinate routine port services through local agents
§ Review PDA / FDA and related supporting documentation
§ Collect, maintain and update voyage and operational data
§ Maintain operational databases, trackers and internal reports
§ Support voyage documentation and standard operational reporting
§ Update and circulate the daily fleet schedule
§ Support routine commercial screening requests, in line with defined procedures
§ Monitor operational developments and escalate issues as required
Profile and Required Skills
§ 3 years' experience as Operator of Spot / Time Charter oil/chemical tanker vessels
§ Sea-going experience as Deck Officer on Oil/Chem Tankers desirable but not essential
§ Degree in economics, commerce, maritime engineering, or diploma in maritime disciplines
§ Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize
§ Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
§ Proficient in use of technology particularly Excel, Word, maritime management software
§ Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
§ An interest in and aptitude for people management
§ Knowledge of macroeconomics including xjrgpwk trade flows
§ Fluent in English essential
§ Familiarity with port operations and agency workflows
§ Ability to collect, manage and analyse operational data, ensuring structured and reliable reporting
