This role is responsible for designing, integrating, and maintaining digital tools and platforms that enhance automation, operational visibility, and data-driven decision-making across our data center environments. /p pYou will operate at the intersection of engineering, operations, and data, working closely with cross-functional teams to connect and optimize core operational systems. These include Building Management Systems (BMS) for environmental and facility monitoring, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for asset tracking and preventive maintenance, and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) platforms for incident, request, and change workflows. /p pIn addition, you will leverage analytics platforms to deliver dashboards and reports that improve real-time visibility into operational performance. /p pThe role focuses on building lightweight, practical solutions—such as scripts, integrations, data pipelines, queries, and dashboards—that enable field teams and operations leaders to work more efficiently. You will identify areas where automation can reduce manual effort, improve process consistency, and deliver measurable outcomes. This includes developing and maintaining custom tooling, configuring interfaces between platforms, and creating supporting documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs). /p pSuccess in this role requires strong technical fluency, an understanding of facility operations, and a pragmatic engineering mindset. You should be comfortable working in high-availability environments, translating operational requirements into digital solutions, and supporting systems that directly impact performance, compliance, and energy efficiency across our data centers. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Engineering Technical Delivery /h3 ul liDesign and implement automation workflows and data pipelines to replace manual, repetitive tasks /li liDevelop scripts, internal tools, and custom dashboards using platforms such as Grafana, Power BI, and Structured Query Language (SQL) /li liDeliver and support integrations between systems such as CMMS, BMS, and ITSM /li liConduct data validation, root cause analysis, and anomaly detection on operational data /li liCreate and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configuration templates /li /ul h3Systems Integration Tooling /h3 ul liBuild and maintain lightweight application programming interfaces (APIs), scripts, and tool connectors to bridge system silos /li liDevelop queries and automation logic to support key operational indicators including: ul liKey Performance Indicators (KPIs) /li liService Level Agreements (SLAs) /li liIncident trends and reliability analysis /li /ul /li liEnsure technical implementation aligns with global operations transformation strategy and tooling roadmap /li /ul h3Documentation Communication /h3 ul liWrite and maintain clean, structured technical documentation to support internal users and audits /li liDocument use cases, design decisions, and performance metrics for developed solutions /li liTrack adoption, performance, and operational impact of delivered tools and enhancements /li /ul h3Ims Certification Responsibilities /h3 pAs part of DATA4’s Integrated Management System (IMS) compliance framework, the role will support the following domains through tooling and technical contribution: /p ul liIMS (Integrated Management System): Drive continuous improvement of our operational systems through measurable enhancements and digitization /li liHealth Safety: Ensure that platforms comply with safety event reporting and are auditable for regulatory reviews /li liEnvironment: Support visibility into environmental performance, including emissions and sustainability metrics /li liInformation Security: Apply secure coding practices, control access to sensitive data, and ensure systems align with ISO/IEC 27001 principles /li liEnergy Management: Enhance monitoring of consumption and performance through dashboards and system-level telemetry /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Education Experience /h3 ul liMinimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering, data engineering, DevOps, or related technical roles /li liProven experience working in mission-critical, high-availability environments, such as data centers, manufacturing, or industrial automation /li liBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field /li /ul h3Technical Skills (Required) /h3 ul liProficient in scripting and querying: Python, SQL, InfluxQL/Flux, and similar /li liHands‑on experience with CMMS and ITSM platforms (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, MCIM) /li liSkilled in data visualization using tools like Grafana, Power BI, or Tableau /li liStrong understanding of APIs, data formats (JSON, XML), and basic operating system diagnostics (Linux and Windows) /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Building Management System (BMS) protocols, including Modbus, BACnet, or OPC /li liFamiliarity with monitoring and alerting frameworks such as Prometheus, Zabbix, or equivalent /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
