The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing integrated solutions for complex plants designed to access the latest technologies in our large‑scale projects worldwide. /p pIf you are passionate about making a meaningful impact in reducing the carbon footprint of industrial operations, we encourage you to apply. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liElaborate the documents and carry out the activities of competence in accordance with the quality, schedule, standards, procedures, work instructions and contractual requirements. /li liPerform detailed design activities for the relevant laboratory and workshop equipment. /li liInterface with colleagues from other pertinent functions for the process and technical topics of competence. /li liManage the technical interactions with the suppliers of laboratory and workshop equipment, as well as for chemicals and catalysts providers. /li liProvide assistance during the construction and commissioning phases from home office or at site according to the project needs. /li liExecute estimates related to the laboratory equipment, workshop equipment and catalyst chemicals during estimation phase, as requested by the estimating functions. /li liProvide feedback to the responsible relevant to issues in the application of methods and operating instructions to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the Utilities Department in subsequent projects, participating also in the capitalization of the relevant lessons learnt. /li liKeep constantly updated to take advantage of the experience gained on the project, considering also the feedback coming from other disciplines. /li /ul h3Personal Attributes /h3 ul liDegree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry or equivalent (technical diploma in chemistry also considered). /li liMinimum 5+ years’ experience in Laboratory Engineering, Industrial Laboratories or Process Industry. /li liPreferred experience in multinational general contractor business. /li liPreferable experience in industrial plant laboratories and workshop equipment. /li liLaboratory equipment detailed design and specification experience. /li liFluent in English and Italian languages. /li liPreferable experience in coordination with building/layout disciplines. /li liDynamic mind‑set and flexible approach. /li liAnalytical, technical and methodological innovation skills. /li liExcellent planning, collaboration, communication, problem‑solving skills. /li liAbility to work with cross‑functional teams. /li liFlexibility to travel for medium/long missions to international engineering lead centers and to construction sites. /li /ul h3Job Location /h3 pCatania, Italy. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
