To guide the Chiesi Group in its short-, medium- and long-term decisions, the Team defines clear targets and develops action plans to achieve them effectively. /p h3What you will do /h3 pWithin the GCN, the Accounts Payable Delivery Team Leader (Italy) is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of AP operations, ensuring full alignment with global processes, adherence to deadlines and high-quality output. The role combines people leadership, operational oversight and hands‑on expertise in AP processes. Team Leader actively monitors performance and drives continuous improvement. /p h3You will be responsible for /h3 ul liEnsure timely and accurate execution of all AP activities (invoice processing, vendor master data, payment proposals, payments, and reconciliations) /li liMonitor daily operations and resolve bottlenecks to meet SLAs/OLAs and deadlines /li liTimely perform and monitor vendor payment reimbursement related matters to ensure all payments are appropriate /li liLead AP team for monthly and year end close, ensuring that the account payable is well maintained and closed out in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner /li liResponsible for monthly AP reports with comments on long aging balance /li liFulfill other tasks assigned by Line manager (Global Process Owner) /li liLead, coach, and develop the AP team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement /li liSet clear objectives and monitor team performance /li liPromote a collaborative, high-performance, and service-oriented team environment /li /ul pProcess Improvement /p ul liDrive standardization, simplification, and automation of AP processes /li liContinuously improve policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and control /li liCollaborate with Procurement and other stakeholders to optimize the purchase-to-pay cycle /li liEnsure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and local regulations (including Italian VAT) /li liProactively identify and elevate process deviations or risks to the Global Process Owner /li liSupport internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely documentation /li /ul h3You will need to have /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field /li liAt least 4 years of experience in accounting roles /li liSolid knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) /li liStrong understanding of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes /li liKnowledge of Italian tax and regulatory requirements is a must /li liExperience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4) /li liAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel and Office tools /li liFluent in English and Italian /li liStrong people management and leadership skills /li liAnalytical mindset with structured problem-solving approach /li liHigh attention to detail and strong control awareness /li liCustomer-oriented with effective stakeholder management /li liAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment /li liTrustworthy, with a high level of integrity and confidentiality /li liStrong alignment with company values /li /ul h3Location /h3 pParma, with the expectation of being in the office three times a week. /p h3What we offer /h3 pNo matter where your path starts at Chiesi, it leads to inspiring possibilities.
