S/he allows access to visitors, answers phones, transfers calls, answer questions and manage the flow of traffic in the office. MAIN ACTIVITIES: Receiving visitors at the front desk by welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures) Operates telephone switchboard; answers and transfers calls to appropriate units. Connect and understand the guest/customer needs and refer them to appropriate units when necessary. Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries. Arrange meeting rooms and offers beverage to guests where necessary. Manage couriers (incoming - outcoming). Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing. The ideal receptionist has: Pleasant personality and professional appearance, able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner. Multitasking, stress management and organizational skills. Flexibility and proactive attitude required. Phone handling skills Solid written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Customer service attitude High school degree. English fluency (written and spoken) mandatory; further languages are a plus. Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
