Driven by our continuous growth, for our manufacturing location in Bressana, Bottarone (PV), we are searching for a Procurement specialist that will be part of our Material department.
The role will focus on checking open purchase orders in SAP on a daily basis, control the on-time delivery of suppliers, directly contacting suppliers and monitoring the expected delivery status of the various materials.
organize transportation for the material ready for collection from suppliers
deal with the operational management of couriers, organizing the transport of materials to and from suppliers
organize transportation of customer orders with complete monitoring of compliance with the scheduled times
prepare the shipment of orders for external processing (subcontracting) through the Subcontracting Cockpit in SAP: through collaboration with the warehouse assuring the pick-up of raw materials and the preparation for the shipping and the related transport documents and ensuring that all goods are ready on time
operate on SAP creating the P.O.s for all consumables materials and as a support for urgent P.be a backup figure for all the activities of the purchasing department
master data creation in SAP of codes for raw materials, consumables, semi-finished and finished products
procurement of materials and operative management of suppliers (verification of open orders status, supplier pushing and order dates acknowledgement in SAP) and operational management of subcontractors
support to warehouse workers for planning and organizing shipments of material to be reworked from and to the various subcontractors
3+ years of experience in the internal logistics management in structured production companies
~ Excellent knowledge and experience with SAP (S4/Hana) specifically for master data and MM module (PP module is a plus) for both procurement and stock management
~ Practical experience with Excel at least at an intermediate level (pivot tables, Vlookup, etc.)
~ Previous experience in the operational coordination of warehouses and internal logistics in production environment
~ Knowledge of stock management procedures in SAP through MRP (reorder point/safety stock) and Kanban logic
~ Experience in inventory counts and cycle counts procedures using SAP
~ Knowledge Italian and English at intermediate level
The role requires occasional spot travelling throughout Europe and Middle East for short missions
