Reporting directly to the Managing Director, in performing the above mentioned role, the HSE Manager, ,ensures the strategic and operational integration of safety and environmental risk management within the Italian operations. /p pThe HSE Manager will also lead a team of HSE professionals, including direct oversight of the HSE Specialist role, and collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, the RSPP, and local authorities to drive regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liAct as the legally appointed Delegated HSE Employee, accepting the delegation of functions under Art. 16 of Legislative Decree 81 / 08. /li liEnsure full compliance with Legislative Decree 81 / 08, environmental legislation (e.g., Legislative Decree 152 / 06), and relevant EU directives. /li liCoordinate closely with the RSPP, Occupational Health Doctor(s), and other personnel (e.g., RLS, workers’ representatives). /li liLead the HSE function including supervision, coaching, and performance management of the HSE team. /li liProvide strategic direction to senior leadership on health, safety, and environmental matters, including legal obligations and risk mitigation strategies. /li liOversee and validate the development and updates of the DVR (Documento di Valutazione dei Rischi). /li liEnsure proper implementation of risk assessments, safety procedures, and operational controls across all company sites and activities. /li liPromote the implementation of D.U.V.R.I., POS, and other legally required documents for contractors and site-specific operations. /li liDefine and execute the annual HSE training plan in accordance with legal obligations and operational needs. /li liPromote a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and regulatory compliance across all functions. /li liDirect incident and near-miss investigations, ensuring timely root cause analysis, corrective action, and reporting. /li liOversee the development and testing of Emergency Response Plans and fire safety procedures, including prove di evacuazione (evacuation drills). /li liPlan and execute internal HSE audits and inspections; manage follow-up actions and corrective measures. /li liMonitor performance metrics (KPI / KRI), prepare regulatory and internal HSE reports, and recommend system improvements. /li liServe as the primary HSE contact with Italian authorities (ASL, ARPA, VV.FF, ISPRA, etc.) and external auditors. /li liCollaborate with global and regional HSE teams to align local programs with corporate standards. /li liAvailability to interface with emergency services and regulators as needed. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul libEducation : /b Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. /li libExperience : /b Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in HSE roles, including at least 4 years in a managerial or delegated position within Italy. /li libLanguages : /b Fluent in Italian (mandatory); professional proficiency in English. /li /ul h3Other Requirements /h3 ul libWillingness to travel periodically within Italy for site visits, inspections, and audits. /b /li /ul pLI-MS1 /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
