OverviewWe're Hiring | Cluster Finance ControllerAn exceptional career opportunity for a senior hospitality finance leader to join two ultra-luxury resort hotels in Sardinia in a cluster leadership role.We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded Cluster Finance Controller to lead financial operations, controls, and business performance across two flagship luxury properties.ResponsibilitiesFinancial ControlOverseeing all sales, purchasing, salaries and expensesImplementing and reviewing financial policiesAudit compliance, including actioning recommendations and liaising with internal stakeholdersFinancial ReportingProduction of monthly financial reporting under GAAPOverseeing budgeting & forecasting process and long‐term planningMonthly and annual reportingFinancial PerformanceMonitoring budgets and reporting major deviations of over‐expenditure, under‐budgeting or non‐compliance to the approved budgetBusiness partnering with two General Managers to implement controls, solutions, and action plansAssisting the General Managers in establishing local policies, rules, internal controls and safeguards that ensure profitability and control of operationsAdvising and providing counsel to the General Managers, HODs and finance teams on all financial mattersTreasury & TaxTreasury management and cash planning, reviewing the cash position to optimise use of funds and minimise cash held in the businessReviewing all changes to tax laws and accounting policies, assessing their implications and ensuring the finance team implements appropriate changesOtherSupporting the financial function of any opening of new productsAssisting with accounting related to any hotel or other asset sales, product closures and ownership changesManaging relations with third parties, owners and/or partners together with the General ManagersFacilitating the best communication and reporting between the Belmond regional office in Milan and the Cheval Blanc corporate offices in ParisCommunicating relevant information to the Divisional Financial Controllers and the General ManagersRequirementsProven experience as Director of Finance / Financial Controller in luxury or ultra‐luxury hotels or resortsStrong cluster / multi‐property exposure preferredSolid leadership skills with commercial mindset and hands‐on approachFluent in English and ItalianBenefitsPermanent contract according to C.C.N.L.
