You will also be expected to contribute in restructuring existing SW and mentor new junior developers. /ppYour main tasks will be to: /pulliPrepare detailed requirement specifications for in-house and/or outsourced developments /liliDevelop embedded software for high-end microcontrollers (often ARM based) /liliDevelop the embedded software using C/C++ /liliDevelop and integrate in an automotive-grade multi-tasking RTOS /liliPerform test and validation on the product you are developing and the ecosystem around it /li /ululliCooperate with internal SW architects and peer teams /liliCooperate in onboarding Danfoss projects from different BUs into the Platform /liliCooperate with Hardware engineers in troubleshooting and optimizing new HW designs /liliCooperate with external partners, customers, IT departments /li /ul /p /ppph3Background Skills /h3br/ppulliEducational background in Engineering (Software, Electronic, Automation, Telecom) or equivalent culture /liliProven experience (5+ years) in Embedded Software development for automotive- or industrial-grade complex systems /liliFluent in C/C++ and version control tools (Git) /liliDeep knowledge of RTOSs and multi-threading coordination mechanisms /liliExperience with industrial communication protocols on the TCP/IP stack, or automotive/industrial buses like CANbus and Modbus /liliBasic knowledge of IEC-61131 programming languages /liliExperience with IoT architectures and communication protocols /li /ululliAbility to understand hardware schematics and layouts - Hardware development and PCB industrialization experience is a plus /li /ululliGood knowledge of English and Italian languages, written and spoken /liliAbility to communicate both technical and business matters in a clear and concise language /li /ul /p /ppph3Danfoss – Engineering Tomorrow /h3br/pppAt Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
