As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality onsite customer support and representing the face of the company.
You'll conduct routine maintenance, installation, and repair of products at customer sites, including calibration and testing. Diagnosing system failures and determining cost-effective solutions is key.
This position reports to the Field Service Manager and is part of the Customer Support department, working remotely to cover Northern Italy.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
* Respond to customer support calls and provide field support within your assigned territory.
* Ensure Preventative Maintenance Inspections are completed on time.
* Maintain accurate records and inventory.
The essential requirements of the job include:
* A high school diploma or university degree in electronic engineering or similar.
* 3-5 years of experience in high-tech research instruments service.
* Fluent English language skills.
Travel & Requirements:
* Ability to travel up to 90% of the time, including overnight stays within Northern Italy and training purposes in Europe.
* Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
It would be beneficial if you also possess previous experience in
* Centrifugation, Particle Counting, and Particle Characterisation.
* Lab analysis environment.
