Ph3About the Role /h3 pFor one of our manufacturing plant in Italy, we are looking for a Purchasing Manager who will lead the Purchasing Department and contribute strategically to the plant’s operational efficiency and competitiveness. /p h3Job Purpose /h3 pThe Purchasing Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services required for plant operations, achieving the best balance between cost, quality, and service, in full compliance with the local Purchasing Procedure and Group guidelines. /p pThe role also includes managing the Purchasing Office and providing close support to the Mill Manager through analysis and reporting activities. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage and develop a team of purchasing, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and continuous development /li liDraft, maintain, and ensure compliance with the local Purchasing Procedure /li liMonitor plant requirements and plan purchasing activities accordingly /li liManage supplier relationships and carry out supplier scouting /li liRequest, evaluate, and negotiate quotes and commercial terms /li liApprove purchase orders in line with the defined authorization strategy /li liAnalyze supplier performance and identify cost reduction and savings opportunities /li liEnsure confidentiality in handling sensitive data /li liPrepare internal and Group reporting in accordance with official deadlines /li liPeriodically analyze key company KPI’s /li /ul h3Main Activities /h3 ul liManage tenders and negotiations with suppliers /li liSupervise supplier contracts /li liHandle and resolve commercial issues with suppliers /li liPerform internal control activities /liliCoordinate with other company departments and Central Sourcing /li liPerform cost analysis and monitoring /li /ul h3Requirements Skills /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in economics or related fields is preferred /li liExperience in team management /li liExperience in similar roles within structured organizations (industrial background preferred) /li liStrong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills /li liAccuracy, flexibility, results-oriented mindset, and problem‑solving attitude /li liHighly self‑motivated with strong organizational and prioritization skills /li liFluent English (minimum level B2) /li liSAP knowledge is considered a plus /li /ul pIf you are willing to challenge yourself and make a real impact, you will be part of a collaborative and challenging work environment. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
