The role will be based at the Promat Italy Filago Plant (BG) and focuses on the intumescent portfolio. /ph3Location /h3pFilago, Italy /ph3What You'll Do /h3ulliProduct Development InnovationulliConduct patent and literature reviews to define project scopes and problem statements. /liliDevelop project plans, test formulations on a lab scale, and extrapolate them to production processes. /liliDesign, monitor, and analyze fire test programs to meet high‑standard building and industry requirements. /liliSource new raw materials to enhance product performance, lower costs, and reduce the CO2 footprint. /liliCollaborate with internal experts, operations, universities, suppliers, and external partners. /liliTrain stakeholders on technologies/product performance and support grant and patent applications. /li /ul /liliProject Portfolio ManagementulliLead projects by defining scope with sponsors, conducting risk analyses, and preparing decision meetings. /liliManage project databases and development plans in alignment with company project management standards. /liliCoordinate and delegate tasks within the team, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget. /liliReport progress clearly to stakeholders and proactively provide mitigation plans for potential delays. /liliOversee laboratory management, including equipment and personnel coordination. /li /ul /liliTechnical Assistance SupportulliClarify and define technical requests from internal and external stakeholders. /liliOversee material technology and performance for the assigned portfolio (intumescent, lamination, extrusion, injection molding). /liliDefine, perform, or commission specific analyses and tests. /liliEvaluate test results and deliver conclusive technical reports to Quality Control, production sites, and business units. /li /ul /liliSafety Environmental ComplianceulliReport hazardous situations, accidents, or safety system failures and participate in investigations. /liliProperly utilize laboratory materials, work equipment, hazardous products, and personal protective equipment. /liliActively contribute to prevention and environmental policies, maintaining compliance with corporate standards. /li /ul /li /ulh3What You'll Bring /h3ulliMaster of Science in material engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent. /lili3–5 years of experience in a similar role. /liliEnglish language proficiency at B2 level (required) and confident communication in an international environment. /liliProficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
