POST CONTEXT /b /ppThe Joint Logistics Support Group Headquarters commands and controls assigned logistic, engineer, and medical units for the execution of JTF’s operational level plan. /ppThe Support Branch is responsible for supporting the JLSG HQ mission execution. /ppThe Communication and Information System Section (CIS) develops and coordinates CIS plans and concepts in support of operational (COPs / OPLANs) CIS support for the JLSG HQ. /ppThe incumbent is responsible for CIS support of the Joint Logistics Support Group HQ (JLSG HQ). /ppThe incumbent reports to the Branch Head (Support) OF-5. /pp2. DUTIES /ppbThe Section Head's duties are : /b /pulliAct as the Head of the CIS Section of JLSG HQ, reporting directly to the Branch Head (Support). /liliAdvise COS JLSG HQ on all CIS matters and coordinate CIS decisions. /liliSupport the development of tactical plans, concepts, procedures, and training for JLSG HQ. /liliCoordinate and prepare CIS Annexes of JLSG GRPs and OPLANs. /liliEnsure CIS supporting JLSG HQ and subordinate units meet deployed Information Exchange Requirements (IERs). /liliMonitor CIS situation with subordinate units, maintain situational awareness during deployment, and report incidents. /liliAdvise on CIS and Cyber issues and resolve related incidents. /liliServe as the point of contact between JLSG Staff and CIS providing elements. /liliCoordinate deployment of NATO CIS within JLSG HQ and units. /liliOversee efficient operation of all CIS assets and supervise asset settlement. /liliCoordinate Cyber Defence, INFOSEC, and Frequency Management issues. /li /ulpThe incumbent may perform similar duties elsewhere as directed and undertake deployments or TDY assignments within and outside NATO. /ppb3.
