Job Description:
Reporting to Underwriting Policy & Collection Manager, the resource is a senior member of the Retail Credit Risk Management Team.
The Retail Credit Risk Team covers the full area of lending (Residential Mortgages, Credit Cards, Overdrafts, Personal Loans and Salary Secured Loans) based on portfolio approach acting as 2 Line of Defense.
From this perspective, the Underwriting & Credit Policy Specialist is responsible for updating and maintaining the Local Retail Credit Risk Policy, defining credit rules, promoting 2nd level controls (including the review of 1st line procedures and manuals).
Key Responsibilities:
* Credit rules definition
* Second level monitoring optimization
* Effectively manage relation with relevant stakeholders locally and in Head Office
* Collaborate for the Top Management information pack preparation
Requirements:
* Hold a degree in Finance or Statistics or Economics or Engineering
* 5+ years of relevant and thorough experience in the retail credit risk banking sector
* Good knowledge of regulatory framework
* Ability to analyze, interpret and elaborate data (quantitative analytical skills)
* Understanding key drivers within the Italian unsecured lending and mortgage market
* Experience on lending via digital channels
* Expert in Decision Engine credit strategy management is a plus
* Fluent in English
