Wood is recruiting for a 3D CAD Systems Administrator - AVEVA E3D Administrator to join its Projects – Process and Chemical Team, focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

The Role
The candidate shall be responsible for AVEVA E3D / PDMS software administration, including Creation / Maintenance / Set-up of Add-on Programs or Catalogue and Specification database for 3D model components of Piping, Equipment, Instrumentation, Structure, etc. that are used for Chemical, Oil & Gas, Power Plants, Refining and Biotech Industries projects.

8. E3D PDMS project set-up and maintenance (creation of Teams, Users, DBs & MDBs based on project philosophy)
9. E3D PDMS Global set-up, monitoring and maintenance (HUB and Satellite)
10. Day-to-day administrative activities like project archival, retrieval, back up
11. Provide E3D PDMS support and documentation as required by the design team
12. Create and maintain corporate and project level piping cats & specs, manage the interface with AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) system
13. Create model exports to Navisworks and other platforms
14. Coordinate / Instruct training classes based on project or client needs
15. Setup piping Isometrics to meet project requirements, IsoDraft configuration
16. Draw and Draft drawing set-up and maintenance
17. Setup and assisting usage of point cloud data (LFM) integrated with E3D
18. Develop CAD routines as necessary to increase productivity & support budget & schedule (PML)
19. Assist with E3D PDMS support for other Wood offices
20. Define and Maintain Project Procedures
21. Manage the integration with 2D (smart P&ID systems) and 3D design tools with related import/export tasks
22. 3 years in project design experience in the Oil & Gas, Power Plants or Refining Industries
23. 1 years in E3D / PDMS Administration (hands-on experience)
24. Piping Design background, experience of 3D CAD coordination is a plus
25. PML programming experience is a plus
26. Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, SQL Database experience
27. Fluent in Italian and English languages
28. Resolves highly complex technical issues and provides technical assurance in areas of discipline expertise
29. Wide degree of creativity and proactivity is expected
