Our mission under the Monro banner is to provide the highest quality tire and auto service. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team in various roles across our locations, including field management and store operations at our Support Center in Rochester.
Position: Automotive Mechanic/Technician
Pay: $26 - $40+ per hour (based on experience and certifications, with additional incentives available)
As an Automotive Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain guest vehicles. You will undergo comprehensive training from day one, working as part of a team to deliver excellent guest experiences and ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
Responsibilities
* Perform repairs and maintenance such as brakes, suspension, tire installation, diagnostics, and more, within your qualifications
* Obtain guest approval before performing work, and maintain a clean work environment
* Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs
* Test drive vehicles and safely use shop equipment for inventory pickup
* Collaborate and provide leadership to teammates
Minimum Qualifications
* At least 2 years of automotive technician experience
* Valid Driver’s License
* Own basic automotive tools or participate in our tool purchase program
* Ability to work overhead, stand long hours, and lift up to 50 lbs.
* Guest and team-focused mindset
* Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, if applicable
Preferred Qualifications
* ASE certification in at least one area (A1-A8)
* Automotive Technician State Inspector License
* Technical school certificate or degree
